When I started my social media journey, I had 113 connections on LinkedIn, and didn’t know what Twitter or Instagram were OR, how to use them. With over 100k followers cross-channel and a thriving podcast, I wanted to pause and send a heartfelt thank you , and a bit about my journey.I felt out of place in the traditional outlets + forums, the business-as-usual supply chain communities where I didn’t see myself or others like me represented on stage and in PoVs. Simply put, I wanted to have an impact in a space that didn’t include folks like me.The Supply Chain Revolution® and SCQ brands were born out of a desire to create access to ideas + new school thought leadership, elevate innovation in sustainability and tech, and create an inclusive community for next generation voices in supply chain. The supply chain Rebel emerged as something to anchor and rally around for responsible, equitable, and impactful change in advances in sustainable development and circular economy.Fast forward 7 years, and we are still going strong – even with intermittent pauses for degrees and well being. I’m proud that the catalytic values that incubated this community remain intact. I’ve grown a ton over this period personally + professionally and have learned to adopt the ‘less but better’ philosophy.This is your success.Every event and podcast is made with love, with ZERO dollars spent on any marketing or advertising…not even editing or content! It’s sustained on the goodwill of people like you who want to make a difference and that’s pretty damn awesome.
